In 2019 the internet domain .swiss entered into a partnership with Venturelab for the TOP 100 Swiss Startup Award (www.top100startups.swiss).
Startups are often still free to choose whatever internet domain they want and are able to benefit from an image boost by actively opting for a ‘Swiss Made’ domain.
In addition, Venturelab, with its highly successful ‘Deeptech Startup’ approach, exemplifies the culture and values associated with .swiss and strongly identifies itself with its own Swiss origins (www.venturelab.swiss). So Venturelab stands behind the .swiss domain in its own startup training courses.
In this blog format dot.swiss continually publishes the latest on the partnership with the TOP 100 Swiss Startup Award.
The figures speak for themselves. Launched 11 years ago, the Top 100 Swiss Startup brand has become a true benchmark, even by international standards. The number of jobs created in the start-up scene alone – supported and ranked by Top 100 Swiss Startups – is equivalent to the number of jobs in a medium-sized Swiss city.
On 8 September, Venturelab held the Top 100 Startup Award for the first time in its new location, its very own Startup Space in Schlieren. It was a relaxed event in warm late summer weather, which allowed guests to network outside until late in the evening. (more…)
